This project aimed at providing an extra functions in a regular piece of snap off knife. With a specially-designed graphite marker on one side and 9mm snap-off blade on another. Based on a symmetry profile, end-users can have two most essential and useful usages with simply flipping over this knife. Marking and cutting with a single tool helps users to speed up their working processes.
Combining replaceable graphite cartridges and packaging that emphasize the marker accessibility and internal storage. Retaining the shape in the symmetric profile, making the knife a handy and functional device both in cutting or pencil mode, and in right-hander or left hander. Furthermore, approaches the reasonable pen type with the narrowing shape, also researching for a feasible size of graphite blade that is manufacturable. This design direction provides more comfortable and higher writing ability.
